Apagun Jimmy Orekoya

On 15th January 2022, by the grace of God, I was elected the 16th Captain by the members of Abeokuta Golf Club and took over the helm of affairs from kola Adeneye as you probably know, it is tradition to have an inaugural tournament to mark the beginning of my tenure.
My inaugural is termed the ‘Change of Guard’ as the phrase suggests signifies the exit of the old and the entry of the new, it will also be sign out of the immediate past captain, the event will come up on the 6th and 7th of May 2022.
The event will start with Pre-Game Cocktail on Friday whilst the tournament proper shall be on Saturday followed by the closing ceremony at 5:30pm. We promise to make it a great beginning for all, a sign of greater things to come.
I take this opportunity to request for your financial support through donations and sponsorship, to help mark the beginning of a new era and a successful event. All donations should be made to Abeokuta Golf Club Polaris Bank Account No 4090628394.
I am rest assured that my dream of raising the bar at the club during the tenure, as promised in the moments that led to winning the election, shall be realized.
Thanking you in advance for your kind gesture.
Warm regards.
